SSS- Cheat?

Image
"I won't cheat" Quote by Dale Murphy Dale Murphy is choosing the right and not choosing to cheat. Many people should say the same to themselves when they are about to cheat. Sometimes it is better to choose the right and do something fair. For example if you cheat just like the New England Patriots did by deflating the ball on the AFC championship against the Indianapolis Colts. The Patriots ended with a win over the colts of a score of 45-7. But later on were caught for cheating and Tom Brady was suspended for 4 games. Cheating isn't the way to go and you will get caught sooner or later. It would of been better to lose fairly than win dishonestly and cheating. Dale Murphy is a good man for choosing the right to not cheat and everyone who has ever thought about cheating should tell themselves that they will not cheat.

SSS- Character

Image
"Character Matters Most." Quote by Dale Murphy I agree with Dale Murphy. Character truly does matter wherever and whenever. Character is the mental and moral qualities distinctive to an individual. If someone has good character you will look good to other people and have a good reputation. Some good qualities and a certain individual may have are honesty, fairness, loyalty, compassion, humility, etc. If someone has a certain game like football or basketball or baseball you should always play by the rules and not cheat because if you do then you would be having a bad character on yourself. In class we saw a video where a little league baseball team had a kid from another city and was basically breaking the rules and they won the championship but they were stripped from it for "cheating". Character always matters.

SSS- A right heart

Image
"Great beauty, great strength, and great riches are really and truly of no great use; a right heart exceeds all." Quote by Benjamin Franklin I agree with this quote by Benjamin Franklin. Someone can be very beautiful or handsome or very strong or the richest man in the world but its all in the personality. I personally believe that one's personality is what makes a person who they are. Having a right and good heart is over beauty and all. People can be beautiful, rich or strong but they can be really rude. Having a good heart makes more people like you. Having a good heart and personality beats great strength, riches and beauty.

SSS- What we do today

Image
"It may make a difference to all eternity whether we do right or wrong today." Quote by James Freeman Clarke James Freeman Clarke a great point. Whether you do something good or bad it will always make a difference. For example that man that years ago was shooting at the movie theaters in Colorado he probably killed many people and that made a difference but a bad difference because he was crazy and he killed many innocent people and that changed the lifes of the innocent people's family. But if he chose the right and not done that, it would've been a better choice and been a good difference. Its always to do something good. For example, if you something heroic you would be doing the right thing and good things may happen to you and you will possibly come out on the news and be respected and be seen as a hero and seen as a good guy. But if you go shooting people than you will be seen as a bad person and everyone will remember you as a bad person and theirs

Presidents Day

Image
Presidents Day Presidents day is always celebrated on February 19th, on a Monday. It is also honors the first president of the United States' Birthday on February 22nd. Some ways to honor this day of presidents may be putting your flag up to show honor and maybe thank you're president if you like him. You can also go visit Mount Rushmore. This day is so important that students don't go to school.

Valentines

Image
Valentine's Day Valentines day is celebrated in the middle of February to show respect to the anniversary of Valentine's death and burial which occurred around A.D. 270 .  Valentine is the patron saint of beekeepers and epilepsy, among many other things   and  of love. Valentine had a bad time because he made people fall in love such as soldiers and was sentenced to death for that. Since the soldiers couldn't fall in love because they would get distracted. Claudius II then banned marriage. Pope Gelasius then said that February 14th would be Valentine's Day. Valentine's It wasn't until the 1300s where it started spreading and spreading. In great Britain they started trading and exchanging cards and then was spread to the U.S.

SSS- Ask yourself

Image
"Ask yourself is it right or wrong and act accordingly." Otto Graham, Jr. I agree with this quote by the Hall of Famer quarter back from the Cleveland Browns, Otto Graham, Jr.. Before you do anything always ask yourself if it is right or wrong and act appropriate. In class we saw a video that a woman dropped her engagement ring and a homeless man picked it up and went to the pawn shop to see how much he would get and was told he would get 4 grand on the spot. Instead of selling the ring he decided to wait for the woman if she ever came back and she did. The woman was so grateful and she opened a page so they would donate to the man. Many people donated and donated more than they expected they would donate. The man was no longer homeless and reunited with his family that he hasn't seen in years. Think before you act and act accordingly.
