Class Evaluation

Class Evaluation Things i liked about this class is that it wasn't so boring and every time i would wake up i would remember that i have block 1 computers today with Mr. Haymore. I also liked that Mr. Haymore talked about sports and how he taught us how to type properly and faster. There's nothing i didn't like about this class.  There are no recommendations to make it better either.  My highlight for this class was bringing the breakfast to the class.. I really did my best in this class because it was one of my favorite classes and i put in a lot of information on my google docs to get more credit. We have a Life Planning Goals Journal and i have currently been writing on it for at least 5 minutes a day and in total i have 35 minutes per week.  Yes, i am committed to be a CTR (choose the right) person because CTR people do the right thing and i am committed to doing that.

Football

Image
Football I chose the topic of football because i have passion for the sport and it relaxes and amusing me. I am currently a varsity high school football player as a sophomore. The sport makes me feel good and if i am ever mad i can just hit someone. Football is a mental and physical sport where you have 4 tries to get 10 yards or more and once you pass 10 yards you have 4 more tries to score a touchdown which is 6 points or a field goal which is 3 points. You can run the ball to get 10 yards or throw the ball. The sport is very competitive and it is played in the U.S, Canada, and China and maybe other places. Its very physical because you must tackle and hit the person with the ball when you are in defense. There are many positions, in offense there is the Quarterback that throws the ball, the wide receiver who catches the ball, running back which runs the ball and the offensive tackles and guards which protect the quarterback. In defense theres corner backs which make sure the

Student Success Statement: Body-Mind-Spirit

"Take responsibility for YOUR OWN body, mind, spirit, for your own physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Quote by Mr. C. Haymore I agree with this quote by Mr. C. Haymore because you should be responsible for your own body, mind, and spirit and physical, mental, and spiritual well-being because you're the only one who makes decisions for yourself. You are responsible for your actions. You have to always take care of yourself because lets say they keep telling you to smoke and if you respect yourself and want to stay healthy and good then you would always refuse to take those drugs or do anything bad like that. Be responsible and take care of yourself and you may also want to take care of others who care about you. "Always choose the right" also another quote by Mr. Haymore.

Smoking

Image
Smoking How does smoking harm you?: Smoking  can cause lung disease by damaging your airways and the small air sacs. Smoking cigarettes may cause lung cancer as well. The Data: What percentage of teens smoke?: How can you promote  Non-Smoking ?: We can promote Non-Smoking by putting up more ads and more signs to show not to smoke. I am a non-smoker. I will never be a smoker because i have seen what it has done to people  and i wouldn't want that to happen to me. I

Student Success Statement: Intelligence plus character

Image
"Intelligence is not enough. Intelligence plus character, that is the goal of true education" Quote by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. I agree with this quote by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. because you can be smart but if you are rude and don't have character than you'll have a bad reputation on yourself. Intelligence plus character equals to a good life with good education. Its always good to have good character and it can be any character trait such as honesty or responsible or loving or kind. For example if you are smart but dishonest and not responsible people might respect you but now as much and they will see you as a smart person and a lier. Good character leads to more friends because then you are more joyful and people would like to see you as a friend. Choosing to have good character traits is choosing the right. SO always remember "Intelligence is not enough. Intelligence plus character, that is the goal of true education".

Student Success Statement

"We need the courage to START and CONTINUE what we should do, and the courage to STOP what we shouldn't do." Quote by Richard L. Evans I agree with this quote by Richard L. Evans because it tells us what we should continue to do and what to stop to do. For example, if you are drinking alcohol or doing drugs than you should stop and if you are doing good in school then you should continue to keep doing it. School wise i am doing good so far and in sports wise too and i should continue to stay this way. I have recently started doing weights and i will continue. And on thanksgiving day i went to give food to the homeless in Downtown LA and i hope to keep doing it and start a small community where people can donate clothes and food to give to the homeless. Always have the courage to start and continue what we should do and the courage to stop what we shouldn't do.

Student Success Statement: Another

"When you tell one lie, it leads to another" Quote by Paul Hatch I agree with this quote by Paul Hatch because you will get you use to lying and lying and you'll think you will get away with it if they believed you for one lie. You cant just lie and lie, you have to tell the truth, its always better to say the truth and it might make you feel good. Honesty is the best policy according to Benjamin Franklin and i agree because it is the best policy. And if you don't lie then you would be choosing the right My mom always tell me to never lie and always tell the truth or else my nose will grow like pinocchio. Cheating in school and in other activities and events can be a lie. So always choose the right and tell the truth.
