Quote by Theodore Hesburgh (Former President of Notre Dame) I agree with Theodore Hesburgh. You don't choose to do something because they benefit you or make you look good but to do the right thing. If you have ever did something nice for someone you just don't wait for a reward or anything. For example if you open the door for a person you don't do it for the reward but just to do the right thing. In class we saw a video where a cowboy/farmer went to walmart and helped someone who got their bike stolen and he said he did it because it was the right thing to do. He said he didn't want anything in return but just his rope. You don't need a reward, it just makes you look like a good person by doing the right thing.

Quote by Abraham Lincoln I see Abraham and his point in this quote. He isn't bound to win but he is bound to be honest and true. True can have many definitions and it can be a verb, adverb, and an adjective. True can mean honest and loyal. Lincoln is bound to be honest and loyal than to win. If you are bound to win at least do it with truth. Win with loyalty and honesty. You can win a game by cheating but its better to be true because then bad things may happen to you too. For example we played a school a couple weeks ago and the coach from the other school wasn't really playing fair and they won and later that day he texted our coach and told him that we won the game that he wasn't being honest. I think i would like this job because i can be able to help others. I would help others maybe not the way i expect to but i would still be able to help others.

I would be helping people but not the way i would expect to.

You can be the smartest man but character is what truly makes a person. If you are greedy but smart people wont like you. For example Marvin Williams was fouled out and instead of getting all mad he just went to the bench got 5 cups of water and gave it to each of his team mates because they were about to go in. Roy Williams, head coach of the basketball team of the University of North Carolina, saw his good character and he wanted him on his team. Marvin Williams then went to the UNC and become a good player and now plays in the NBA for the Charlotte Hornets. Character is always higher than intelligence and riches.

He trusted that his hard work would pay off and it did and it made him receive the player of the year award. You must work hard for what you want because at the end it all pays off. You must trust your hard work that it will pay off as well. In our weight room we have the wall that says Hard Work Pays Off or HWPO. This really motivates me because in order to become a good football player I must work hard in the weight room, in the field, in school and outside of school. If I tell myself that I will work hard then I will because i want scholarships and I want to be successful. I must earn scholarships and everything. I must also trust that it will pay off because you cant just work hard and say to yourself that it won't because you would only be putting yourself down. In school in order to g

"True Independence and freedom can only exist in doing what's right." Quote by Brigham Young I agree with Brigham Young. If you do what is right then you will earn independence and freedom. If you do something bad and go to jail for it then you would not have any independence or freedom. Its better to choose the right and have and do anything right that you want. Brigham Young University is a place where you are independent and have freedom because they accept those kind of people that do the right thing. Choose the right and if you ever think of doing wrong then you must rethink everything and think if you want to have freedom and independence and are you going to cause harm to anyone and how will that do any good for you. Over think things so that way you can live a better life. Brigham Young has a point and we should all follow this quote by him because it is very true.
