NFL (National Football League) The National Football League is a professional American football league with 32 teams, divided equally between the National Football Conference (NFC) and the American Football Conference (AFC). In the NFL there are 17 weeks in season but every team plays 16 games due to bye week, which is from weeks 5-11, and it was created so there can be an extra week of football. After the 17 weeks the best 12 teams with the best records (6 from AFC, 6 from NFC) contend in the NFL playoffs to make it to the Super Bowl and try their best to win. 1 week before the Super Bowl, there is an event where the best NFC stars play against the best AFC stars. The thing most watched is the Super Bowl because its the best AFC and NFC teams going against each other to win the Vince Lombardi Trophy and every player in the team that won earns a Super Bowl ring which costs over a thousand dollars.
