Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Use beam-restrictive devices and patient-shielding techniques.
  • Process exposed radiographs.
  • Perform basic general x-rays.
  • Explain process and position patient for x-ray.
  • Determine patients' x-ray needs by reading instructions from physician.

Salary:
  • hourly rate of $13.57 - $28.13
  • total pay of $28,645- $61,197

Education:
Certificate or associate degree; bachelor's or master's for advancement

Reflection:
I would like to be a x-ray technician because it seems simple even though i know it isn't but ive seen one in person and they are so nice and cool and i want to be that.

Student Success Statement: In bad company

"It's better to be alone than to be in bad company." Quote by George Washington the man on the 1 dollar bill (also the first president  of the U.S) I agree with this quote by George Washington. Its always better to be alone to have bad company because if you have bad company then bad decisions with bad consequences may occur. But if you stay alone then the worst thing that can happen is getting bored but its always better than doing drugs and drinking with "friends". Bad company can be those people that you call "friends". True friends wouldn't make you do anything bad and maybe just maybe if they ask you to and you say no to them they would stop and not keep pressuring you to do such a bad thing. Being with friends may be fun and all but sometimes you are better off alone. Just do the right thing and be responsible and safe.

Artist have ways to express feelings by drawing and painting. Many artists can just be mad and make a bunch of mess on a paper and it would be art. Sometimes its not about the drawing but about the emotions on it. Drawing is very entertaining for me and it would be nice to earn a lot of money for just doing something I enjoy doing.
