Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Fit and provide glasses and contact lens for patients.
  • Order prescription eyewear.
  • Explain eye exercises to patients.
  • Take patient history.
  • Assist Optometrist with examinations.
  • Measure patients’ eyes and faces.

Salary:
$20,328- $35,089 annually

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent

Reflection: 
I have seen and met a Optometry Technician and he was a good guy and helped me receive my glasses. It doesn't seem bad to be a Optometry Technician. I would like to be one because it would be nice and with pretty good pay.

The attitude of gratitude would give you a good reputation and will make you look like a good person saying thank you for things and being a kind person. The feeling when you do something good for someone is a good feeling, it makes you feel good and it could make your day. "Kindness is the essence of greatness." Quote by Joseph B. Wirthlin I strongly agree with this statement/quote by Joseph B. Wirthlin. It is true that kindness is the essence of greatness because that's what determines what kind of person you are, what is your true character. If you don't have kindness then you would have a bad reputation and make you look like if you don't have a good character. For example if you play a sport and you are arguing with the referee then it would make you look bad, maybe you might be a good athlete but you would have a bad character on yourself. It's better to be kind and choose the right then be mean and choose the wrong.
