I agree with Theodore Hesburgh. You don't choose to do something because they benefit you or make you look good but to do the right thing. If you have ever did something nice for someone you just don't wait for a reward or anything. For example if you open the door for a person you don't do it for the reward but just to do the right thing. In class we saw a video where a cowboy/farmer went to walmart and helped someone who got their bike stolen and he said he did it because it was the right thing to do. He said he didn't want anything in return but just his rope. You don't need a reward, it just makes you look like a good person by doing the right thing.
