SSS- 8 great reasons to tell the truth

1. Telling the truth lets everyone know what really happened. There's less chance of misunderstanding, confusion, or conflict.
2. Telling the truth protects innocent people from being blamed or punished.
3. Telling the truth allows everyone to learn from what happened.
4. You usually get into less trouble for telling the truth other than lying (and getting caught).
5. Other people trust you more when you tell the truth. 
6. You don't have to tell (and remember) more lies to keep your story straight.
7. You gain a reputation for being truthful- a trait most people value.
8. Telling the truth helps you to feel secure and peaceful inside.

I agree with these reasons by Barbara A. Lewis. Honesty is the best policy. Everyone has heard that. Its true because you have to be honest with one another especially with a relationship. In a marriage being loyal and honest is what keeps a couple together but if not then how do you expect someone to trust you or be with you. Honesty can also be used in sports because if you use steroids and win games then you ain't being fair or truthful to others or yourself. Always be full of truth especially with your parents.

The attitude of gratitude would give you a good reputation and will make you look like a good person saying thank you for things and being a kind person. The feeling when you do something good for someone is a good feeling, it makes you feel good and it could make your day. If you do something good it might come back to you for example if you find a wallet that a man just dropped he will be thankful and you will feel good and not only make you feel good but something good happens to you too like maybe finding money on the floor. It is true that kindness is the essence of greatness because that's what determines what kind of person you are, what is your true character. If you don't have kindness then you would have a bad reputation and make you look like if you don't have a good character. For example if you play a sport and you are arguing with the referee then it would make you look bad, maybe you might be a good athlete but you would have a bad character on yourself. It's better to be kind and choose the right then be mean and choose the wrong.
