SSS- The Grind

"I've been on my grind so hard lately that they gon' be playing catch up."

What this means is that I've been grinding on the field and off the field even if i am injured or not and they won't see me coming and ill surpass them and they going to play catch up but the grind just doesn't stop. This reminds me of football a lot because the better player that wants it and plays harder will pass them but the other that doesn't will be playing catch up as in chase him but he just won't catch up since he wants it more than the other. The way to be a better person or player is to work for it. Being lazy and doing nothing isn't going to do good. A scholar student would study to get what he wants. You always have to work hard for what you want and you will get some where. Just think of it as a competition to beat the other player or the highest ranked kid in class just grind to get to the top.

True can have many definitions and it can be a verb, adverb, and an adjective. True can mean honest and loyal. Lincoln is bound to be honest and loyal than to win. If you are bound to win at least do it with truth. Win with loyalty and honesty. You can win a game by cheating but its better to be true because then bad things may happen to you too. For example we played a school a couple weeks ago and the coach from the other school wasn't really playing fair and they won and later that day he texted our coach and told him that we won the game that he wasn't being honest. Student Success Statement (SSS)- Enthusiasm

"Enthusiasm makes the difference." Quote by Dr. Norman Vincent Peale I strongly agree with this quote by Dr. Norman Vincent Peale. According to Merriam-Webster the dictionary website enthusiasm is when you have a strong excitement of feeling. I feel like enthusiasm does make a difference because when you are enthusiastic you are like a different person with excitement and confidence. In class we saw a couple of videos of Winnie the Pooh and how Tigger was so enthusiastic and Eeyore was so boring and i think people should be more like Tigger because it would make a difference, not only for them selves but for everyone else. When someone has enthusiasm it can make them feel good and others feel good. Like Mr. Haymore told me enthusiasm can spread like a chain reaction. For example if my team were to be in a huddle and i had so much enthusiasm i can pump them up and give them enthusiasm to do better and have more enthusiasm than the other team and win. SSS- True Independence and Freedom

"True Independence and freedom can only exist in doing what's right." Quote by Brigham Young I agree with Brigham Young. If you do what is right then you will earn independence and freedom. If you do something bad and go to jail for it then you would not have any independence or freedom. Its better to choose the right and have and do anything right that you want. Brigham Young University is a place where you are independent and have freedom because they accept those kind of people that do the right thing. Choose the right and if you ever think of doing wrong then you must rethink everything and think if you want to have freedom and independence and are you going to cause harm to anyone and how will that do any good for you. Over think things so that way you can live a better life. Brigham Young has a point and we should all follow this quote by him because it is very true.
